Pro-biotic literally means "pro-life" and foods containing these beneficial bacteria are a vital aspect
of a lifestyle focused on optimum health and longevity. Cultured vegetables are a nutrient-rich source
of pro-biotics and have many advantages, including:
- Nutrients are more bio-available, i.e. easier to digest than raw or cooked foods.
- Less energy is required to digest them, as the vegetables are already partly digested.
- Digestion of all of the foods we eat is eased by the beneficial bacteria.
- Enhanced overall functioning of our digestive systems, and related body systems.
- Help to control cravings that often exist during transitions to a healthier lifestyle.
Once you begin eating cultured vegetables on a regular basis you will come to personally understand and experience
the benefits noted above and realize what an important component they are to your personal wellness/longevity program.
You will literally not want to live without them!
Mavis Horner received training from Donna Gates' organization as a Certified Body Ecologist 2 years ago. She has
also followed up with further training regarding gut issues.
Dr. Terry and Laurena Clark have studied in exclusive sessions with Dr. Robert Pacetti of the
Price-Pottinger Nutrition Foundation in the USA. Dr. Pacetti was the Co-founder of the Page Institute in Florida.
Their research and philosophies strongly support the Body Ecology program and way of life.
